Wealth/Shift Studio is a women-led field catalyst and ecosystem steward helping to spark conversations, connect people and ideas, and create space for new possibilities around how wealth is understood, held, and deployed. Our focus is to bring more women, next-generation wealth holders, philanthropists, wealth advisors, investors, foundations, creatives, and community leaders into the conversation about how we can reimagine and unlock wealth for a resilient future.
Context for this work
We’re here for five years to play a catalytic role in the co-design of how and where financial wealth is liberated, stewarded and invested during Canada’s Great Wealth Transfer.
Canada is in one of the largest wealth transfers in its history. Trillions of dollars will move across generations, institutions and regions over the next two decades. Who directs that capital, and who has a seat at the table when the decisions are made, will shape the country’s economic structure for a generation. We believe that women have an important role in shaping this transition.
The Wealth Shift Studio exists to build a connected ecosystem of those seeking to shift systems.
We will:
Amplify the people and organizations already doing important work across the wealth, philanthropy, finance, and social impact ecosystems.
Connect people across sectors and communities, helping to build relationships and conversations that might not otherwise happen.
Create opportunities for dialogue and shared learning about what is changing, what is emerging, and what is possible.
Bring more women and diverse voices into the conversation, particularly those who are rethinking their relationship with wealth and their role in shaping its future.
Look for opportunities to collaborate and catalyze, supporting ideas and initiatives that can help shift the wealth ecosystem without duplicating work that is already underway.
