Wealth Shift Studio

We’re here for five years to play a catalytic role in influencing how and where financial wealth is liberated, stewarded and invested during Canada’s Great Wealth Transfer.

As a new chapter unfolds in Canada’s wealth story we believe wealth can be a restorative force.

The Wealth Shift Studio.

Canada is entering a once-in-a-generation shift: over $1 trillion in wealth is poised to move from baby boomers to younger generations by 2026. By 2028, women are expected to hold nearly $4 trillion in assets. This is not just a financial transition or an inheritance—it’s about possibility.

This historic transfer of wealth is unfolding at a moment of converging crises - the intersecting forces of ecological breakdown, social and political instability, and exponential technological advancement. It reveals two divergent paths: one where capital is locked up in the old machinery of excessive accumulation and extractive investments, and one where it fuels the bold transformations our shared future demands.

At the centre of this shift are women—carrying not just capital, but the courage to reimagine what it’s for.

The Wealth Shift Studio is here to support this evolution. Not as a consultancy or as a fund, but as a Studio - where together through learning, co-creation, and catalytic action we can move wealth in ways that are life-affirming, relational, and regenerative.

  • We know that spaces for learning, unlearning, and experimentation can unlock what feels stuck. In these spaces, proofs of possibility—tangible demonstrations of new approaches—become powerful catalysts. They often provide the most effective way to show alternative pathways for individuals seeking to reallocate or redistribute their family wealth, particularly when they feel structurally constrained from doing so. This is the core purpose of our Design Studio.

We are experienced designers who bring a range of design methodologies into our work with wealth holders, family offices and other custodians of wealth.

This approach allows clients to rehearse the future: testing bold ideas, shaping the next generation of innovative finance tools, and creating funding models that integrate diverse time horizons, risks, rewards, and agendas.

  • We are deeply connected to the people, places, and movements shaping this field, which gives us a unique vantage point to research, scan the horizon, and identify emerging opportunities.

Our expertise spans foresight and futures practice, the design of collective intelligence and sense-making processes, and the production of useful outputs—from insight reports to policy briefs. We draw on knowledge from many sources—communities, institutions, and the more-than-human world—to ensure a truly plural view.

We believe wealth must be stewarded with long-term vision and an anticipatory stance. That is only possible when decisions are made with awareness of what’s on the horizon and with attentiveness to the wider web of relationships shaping our shared future.

  • We offer advisory and support services for individuals, families, trusts, and foundations. Our role is to help translate values into concrete wealth redistribution and investment objectives, providing the multidisciplinary support needed to align decisions about wealth with deeper purpose—from structuring funds to identifying high-impact opportunities. Where appropriate, we also work alongside professional advisors and family offices to ensure smooth and effective implementation.

Our team brings a wide spectrum of expertise: we are experienced investors, finance innovators, philanthropic and impact advisors, and certified coaches (CTI, ORSC), with additional training in compassion-based therapy and ecological somatics. This allows us to support clients across the technical and the emotional, the practical and the strategic.

We are also curating a network of values-aligned financial professionals who can extend this support, ensuring clients have access to trusted partners across the full spectrum of their wealth journey.

  • We don’t just talk about change—we invite you into it. Embedded in many communities of practice and place, we curate learning journeys and site visits that open new horizons: from regenerative futures and systemic investing, to Indigenous systems thinking, community wealth building, and the solidarity economy. These are not abstract lessons but lived encounters, designed to shift how wealth holders and their partners see, feel, and act.

In partnership with leading collaborators—including the Wolf Willow Institute of Systems Learning, Lumos Transforms, and the Prefiguring Futures Lab—we also offer immersive programs that deepen understanding of systems, power, complexity, and possibility. These experiences are designed not just to inform, but to transform—helping participants move from intention to meaningful action.

  • We know we are part of a much wider ecosystem—here in Canada and across the globe—and our role is to help connect the dots.

For us, that means investing energy in strategic convening and hosting gatherings where diverse perspectives can meet. It means curating salons and learning spaces that spark new connections. And it means illuminating the work already emerging in the field—through storytelling that amplifies the creativity, courage, and experimentation happening all around us.

By weaving these threads together, we aim to strengthen the collective fabric of this movement, so that ideas and practices can travel further, faster, and with greater impact.
